The middle ground between East and West (which is a Western defined term in itself) is a non-linear, subjective territory that constantly evolves based on social and political events. Using blueprints was an ideal visual route to communicate this process of editing, adding and removing aspects from different cultures. The project showcases the highs and lows of seeking identity through culture by highlighting issues that exist in both homogenous communities and as an “outsider” in the U.S. <img width="2048" intention of this project was to create a universal framework that other individuals in a similar position could connect with (regardless of background).
