Story of Double Lives

2022 / Playing Cards and Identity

The purpose of Story of Double Lives is to encourage conversation in immigrant families through a non-intimidating approach. With three separate levels, the game's premise is to spark insightful discussions by putting players through both fictional scenarios and taboo questions to consider different perspectives in this highly diverse culture.

The cards were designed with the intention to reflect the structure and visual motifs found in traditional South Asian architecture and mosaics such as color, symmetry and harmony.
